According to Cubie Messenger’s International Messenger, James Hill, Fortumo is also used by Rovio and Badoo. The integration with Fortumo in Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia went live earlier last week and Cubie Messenger has seen a “massive uplift in transactions” from users in these countries. James shared that the increase in transactions saw one sticker pack bringing in the same revenue in a day via Fortumo that their pervious top seller did in its first week on just iTunes and Google Play.
Cubie Messenger is still waiting approval from authorities in Canada, Ireland and South Korea for the integration with Fortumo there. Cubie Messenger is currently seeing close to eight million downloads with the fastest growing markets being the US, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Latin America.
